The focus timer

Work in calm, timed blocks with breaks in between, without a ticking clock pressuring you.

Start a 25-minute focus session, then go full screen with only the notes in view.

The Focus button in the header starts a focus session. While it runs, the header shows a ring that fills as time passes, and nothing else, so the timer keeps you on track without watching you.

  1. Click Focus.

Choose a length (25 to 60 minutes, or your own), and a break length.
  2. Start the session.

The ring appears. Hover or tap it for the time, Pause, Reset or Stop.
  3. Take the break when it ends.

A gentle prompt offers your break, or you can keep going.

Common questions

Why don't I see the time counting down?

On purpose: a ticking clock makes many students anxious. The header shows a slowly filling ring instead. Hover (or tap) to see the time, or set "Show time: Always" in the timer's settings.

Are my focus sessions saved?

Yes, to your account. The timer shows today's focus time and your total, on any device.
